Terms and Conditions for Payment of Tournament Participation Fees
Before making any payment, please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By making a payment,
you confirm your acceptance of all provisions of this document.
1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the payment of participation fees for the Asian Grand Prix
2026 backgammon tournament (hereinafter the “Tournament”), initiated and organized by the
International Association “International Backgammon Federation” (hereinafter the “IBF”) in
cooperation with the Tajik Backgammon Federation, registration number ИҶ 2167, acting as the coorganizer and host federation of the Tournament.
1.2. The Tajik Backgammon Federation, as the host federation and co-organizer of the Tournament,
is the recipient of the participation fees paid by participants (hereinafter, the “Participants”).
2. Tournament Information
2.1. IBF is the initiator and organizer of the Tournament. The Tajik Backgammon Federation acts as
the co-organizer and host federation and provides organizational support for the Tournament in the
Republic of Tajikistan. Venue: Kohi Navruz Complex, Dushanbe, 14/2 Ismoili Somoni Avenue. Date:
October 5–11, 2026.
2.2. The organizers reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the Tournament schedule, format,
venue, or other organizational arrangements where necessary due to organizational, technical, safety,
regulatory, or other circumstances. Participants shall be informed of any material changes through the
contact details provided during registration and/or through publication on the IBF website.
3. Payment Terms
3.1. The participation fee shall be paid in advance via online payment on the IBF website https://ibg-federation.com. The recipient of the participation fee is the Tajik Backgammon Federation.
Payment processing is carried out through the payment infrastructure of the Branch of CJSC “AlifBank” in Dushanbe.
3.2. Participation fees may be refunded only in the cases and in accordance with the procedure set out
in Section 4 of these Terms and Conditions and in other cases where a refund is required by applicable
law.
4. Refund Policy
4.1. A Participant may request a refund of the participation fee by submitting a request no later than
3 days before the commencement of the Tournament (specifically no later than October 2, 2026, 23:59
Moscow time).
4.2. A refund request must be submitted by the Participant to info@i-bg-federation.com and must
contain sufficient information to identify the Participant and the relevant payment.
4.3. The refund period is approximately 2-3 banking days.
4.4. The amount refunded shall be reduced by the applicable bank fee of 2.5%.
4.5. If the Tournament is cancelled by the organizers, the participation fee shall be refunded to the
Participant in accordance with applicable law and the applicable payment processing rules.
5. Participant Obligations
5.1. The Participant represents and warrants that all information provided is accurate and complete.
5.2. The Participant shall comply with the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of
Tajikistan and the applicable rules and regulations of the Tournament.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the organizers shall not be liable for indirect or
consequential losses arising from circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
7. Amendments to the Terms
7.1. The organizers reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions where reasonably
necessary.
7.2. Amendments shall take effect upon publication on the IBF website and shall apply to payments
made after the effective date of the amended Terms, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
8. Personal Data Processing
8.1. Personal data provided by Participants to IBF for registration and participation in the Tournament
are processed in accordance with the IBF Privacy Policy available on the IBF website.
8.2. Personal data required for payment processing may also be processed by the relevant payment
service provider in accordance with its applicable terms and privacy rules.

10. Applicable Law
10.1. These Terms and Conditions and the payment of participation fees shall be governed by the
applicable laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, without prejudice to any mandatory provisions of law
applicable to the Participant.
