The governing body is the International Backgammon Federation (IBF)

The total guaranteed prize fund is $500,000 after taxes.

REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION FEE

1. Create a profile in the information system (IS) using this link. When registering for the first time, please provide:

full name
date of birth
country and city of residence
e-mail address and phone number

2. Pay the participation fee
A separate online payment link for each event is provided in the table below. Russian participants must make payment using the special payment details provided.

3. Register for the event you have paid for. After payment, submit your application in the information system and be sure to attach your payment receipt.

Applications without a payment receipt will not be confirmed!

4. Please note the following registration rules:
For the “Backgammon Doubles” event, you must additionally complete the registration form. The form must be completed by one member of the team. A payment receipt must be attached to the form.

Players participating only in Backgammon may register for all 8 Backgammon events.

Players participating only in Longgammon may register for all 4 Longgammon events.

For players planning to participate in both Backgammon and Longgammon events, the following restrictions apply:

Participants in the Longgammon Main cannot participate in the Backgammon SuperBlitz, and vice versa, as these events are held at the same time.
Players who remain in the Longgammon Main after Round 6 and advance to Round 7 cannot participate in the Backgammon Masters Cup.
Players who remain in the Backgammon Main after Round 8 and advance to Round 9 cannot participate in the Longgammon Masters Cup.

5. Registration confirmation in the IS
Applications are processed within 3 business days. After this period, please check your tournament registration status in the information system yourself.

REGISTRATION PERIOD

September 7–17, 2026, or until the registration limit for the respective event is reached (see the “Registration Limit (Stage 1)” column).

Once the limit is reached, online payment will be closed. A “waiting list” will be available for players who were unable to pay and register in time. The Organizing Committee will review the applications and, within 7 days, send selected participants an individual payment link by e-mail.
