The International Backgammon Federation (IBF) is an organization that unites national backgammon federations. The main goal of the Federation is the worldwide development, promotion and popularization of the sport of backgammon.

And there is a need for such an organization. IBF is the first federation created, the main goal of which is the worldwide development, promotion and popularization of the sport of backgammon.
